About the Artist

Matthew Wells is an artist focusing on exploring human connection and queer experience through web art and installation. By implimenting nostalgic and subcultural imagery, his work questions narratives of social progress.

(Head On) draws on his experience as a queer man along with socio-historical context to explore isolation within queer communities.
